Laser Skin Care

Carbon-dioxide laser skin therapy permits biopsy and destruction of appropriate skin lesions in an office setting.  After local anesthesia, laser skin care is used in the treatment of malignant, benign, and suspicious skin lesions (usually without the need for sutures); rapid resolution of ingrown nails; instant and nearly painless relief of hematomas under nails; high percentage resolution of warts, skin tags, and hemorrhoids; and numerous other applications.  Most treatments require just one thirty-minute visit.  Loss of work time, therefore, is minimal.  Biopsy reports are usually finalized in seven to 10 days.
