Introducing a program developed in response to you, our patients. Imagine a person with no medical training instructing a doctor not to use a stethoscope unless it can be demonstrated that the patient has heart problems. Sounds absurd? This is exactly what insurance companies demand when it comes to the use of many of today's most sophisticated, effective diagnostic tools. We are precluded from conducting certain diagnostic tests unless we are "ruling out" a defined probable diagnosis.
	Early diagnosis through regular screening is the best approach to providing excellent and cost efficient health care. Yet, the prevailing policies of many insurers often make screening the exception rather than the rule. We are frustrated by such policies. We believe our patients deserve better.
